It Never Fails, Movie Reviews

As  the world becomes more complicated there are some things that never seem to change!  *When in a hurry on a street with signal lights, most will be red! * If you happen to stop at a “convenience” store at the same time you are in a hurry, it may take you 10 minutes to pay for one item, if someone is buying scratch off game cards, lottery tickets or a money order ahead of you! * At the same convenience store it might take you longer to pay out if you buy something that has a “buy one get one free” deal with the purchase!* If you have appointment at the doctors office at 8:30 a.m. they will call you days in advance to remind you and then when you get there you wait at least 45 minutes! *When you approach a four way stop and there is traffic four ways there seems to be confusion as to who goes first! * If you happen to sprain/fracture or break your ankle and you are wearing a caste or boot, at least two times during the day you will be approached by someone to tell you about their ankle injury, what they wore on it, how bad it hurt and how long they had to wear it! * When you are sitting in the airplane waiting for it to take off there is a delay of 60 minutes for reasons unknown to anyone, but when they do take off they thank you for your patience.  My question is, what choice did we have? * I find a good funeral can be refreshing, simply because no one says anything bad about the deceased.  For some reason people become Saints after they die!

Movie Review:

“Dolphins Tale 2”, *****,  This is a sequel to the first “Dolphins Tale” concerning the team of people who saved Winter’s(the dolphin) life and now they must replace the surrogate mother for Winter, that has passed away.  Harry Connick, Jr., Ashely Judd, star!  As a back story fact, my friend David Yates who is the CEO of the Clearwater Aquarian and spearheaded the saving of Winter, plus provided him with the first prosthesis, was spotted 3 times in the movie.  Rated PG for some mild thematic elements.

“A Walk Among The Tombstones”, ****, Llam Neeson is perfect as a lone wolf, un-licensed private investigator who is hired by a drug kingpin to find out who kidnapped and murdered his wife.  While there is some blood and guts the story is excellent and Neeson is perfect for this part.  Rated R for strong violence, disturbing images, language and brief nudity.

“The Equalizer”, ****, This is another well done movie staring Denzel Washington as a former government agent of some kind, who is living a very simple “retired” life.  He is working at a Home Depot type store, reading at night, and minding his own business.  However, this changes as he meets a young prostitute in his diner hang out, who is being controlled by violent Russian gangsters.  He decides he can’t sit by and not help her so then the journey of payback starts with the local Russian bosses, up to the ultimate revenge against the number one boss in Moscow! Look for a sequel!  Rated R for strong bloody violence and language throughout, including some sexual references.

EA, SH......:)!
